I was born here in 1989. So I’ve been living in Sulina for 33 years. And I’ve been doing guided tours in the Delta, boat tours, one of which we’re on now. I have a bigger boat and a smaller one. I do the tours myself and I really like what I do.
It’s kind of hard for us in this area. It’s not as easy as the tourists who come here every year probably see. They walk, enjoy themselves, see the restaurants, see the beautiful boats and see the Delta and imagine that it’s beautiful here all year round. But we also have the winter period when it’s very cold, cold winds blow and we have no activity. The only activity is the one inherited from our ancestors, fishing, which is also quite difficult. And I understand that it will close soon.
