Gabi Sidorenco, fisherman, Sfântu Gheorghe
I entered the water, it was calm and when a wave came, that wave after
the storm… It hit me, I held the oars so that the boat wouldn’t capsize
and the oar threw me overboard. In a split second, I was in the sea. I reached the boat, my colleague picked me up, there were still waves, and I
was a little scared, of course. The keel almost hit my head. Good thing
that I held my hands like that. He came and lifted me up. That’s it. I
wrung out my clothes and went home. Good thing he was able to start the
engine. If the engine didn’t start…
But that was it: madness. And, that word, the money. The rush for the money.
